When she was a young little girl, she got a role as a character in the TV show Charles In Charge. This was the show with the highest one rated in syndication. Davis aged of 24, auditioned for the top stars in Hollywood including Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell along with Martin Landau. Davis was the only one who attended one audition at the renowned Actors Studio with privileges of being employed there, was named a lifetime member following an invitation to audition. Over one thousand actors had auditioned for the position, making Davis just one of only two applicants at the time.
